ALMOND LONDON from Nina’s Cakes

Ingredients A:

250 g butter

120 g icing sugar

1 egg

1 egg yolk

1/2 tsp vanilla

Ingredients B:

300 g plain flour, sifted

200 g ground almond

200 g toasted whole almond, halved


100 pcs paper cups

500 g cooking chocolate, melted

150 g toasted nibbed almond


1. Cream A till well-combined. Mix in B to form soft dough. Shape into small balls and wrap up half almond. Bake at 180′ C till golden brown. Remove and leave to cool

2. Decoration: Place cookie into small paper cups, cover cookies with melted chocolate and sprinkle some nibbed almond on top. Chill in the fridge to set the chocolate before storing
